Libya the future | Ahmed Nasser Qurain: Between sadness and anger there is only love

Libya al-Mustaqbal (Libyan Saqifa (Libya al-Mustaqbal Cultural Gateway): (Not sadness.. but Hazyeen).. This is how Muzaffar Al-Nawab begins his poem. What is not sadness, but inherits sadness? It’s nothing but anger. Yes, the sadness goes to the tears, and the tears explode with anger. Did not Adonis write in one of his texts: I say tears and I mean anger, it is the end result of the accumulation of sadness.

Not sad but sad

Like when you wake up in the rain, the intensity of Jasmine

For example, the wedding box is a piece of love from years past

Like a bulbul who sat late and found the whole playatin orchard playatin.

I killed you, not sad, but sad……

Through three images, he penetrates to the heart of his sadness, and draws his features with a tragic simplicity that expresses his visions with honesty and depth..

The raining jasmine uproots from its roots. The rain, which gives life, puts an end to Jasmina’s life. It is a composite sadness ready to explode. This is the sadness that Al-Sayyab observed in the song of the rain: Do you know what sadness the rain sends?

A wedding device that is sold for scrap after its owner is old or dead, over time. Time is the enemy of eternity and the source of annihilation and immortal attempts at immortality. The superficiality of time conquers the depth of the eternity of love.

In the third photo, the nightingale who wakes up late and finds no figs in the orchard. Is it sin enough that he sleeps in a nightmare and a dream, wakes up late because life punishes him by depriving him of fruit?

Three images are enough to accumulate sadness and generate anger of everything.

And in his other text:

Oh sadness, I would like to know you

I was asking you for a garden and an alley of the box of joy in front of your house

Oh sadness, if I knew where you live

I told you not to come back

And walk all this distance

I myself came to you

Oh sadness and life of your sadness I didn’t know you

You can change your gait

Get cheap smell

Oh cheap, thank you..

Here sadness becomes a familiar person, the companion of the poet. Ask him and talk to him, admonish him and complain to him about him. If he had known him, he would have made him a garden and a path in front of his house, to enjoy the beauty of ephemeral things. If he knew his home, he would have been content with fatigue and would have walked all that distance, he would have come to him obediently. It is not appropriate for sadness to strain to come to us. We made it and the first thing we can do is come

Oh sadness and life of your sadness I didn’t know you

I will change your approach

Get cheap smell

Oh cheap, thank you

Sadness is so sad that the poet (the intimate animal) did not recognize it.

We have in Libya a popular expression (walk your walk), which means be yourself, and don’t try to cost what doesn’t belong to you and other connotations converging. And here the sadness changed his gait until he no longer discerned the poet, and he was not inferred by this cheap perfume with which he was unfamiliar. And here is a nahar in the cheap adjective: – Is it for the perfume only, or for the sadness too, or for both?

It is a paradox that pushes the hair between its shores. O cheap contempt and pity. Despise sadness to remain sad forever, and not become angry. Be cheap. And pity because it belongs to the oppressed and oppressed who do not have the price of a perfume capable of hiding rot, and becomes a mask that can hide weariness, fragility and annihilation. Or less than a day?:

He is with the masses on condition that they revolt?! The first condition of revolution is that you let all your anger flow in a torrent.

During a meeting years ago with him, he depicted two lines expressing the greatest German poet Goethe:

In the heights of the clouds there is a blanket silence

And calm enveloped the vast universe

Everything is calm and relaxed

And soon you too will rest

I remembered his poem One Day Comes:

The day will come when I will not regret the sadness of the days and will not wear the clothes of patience, and we will return to our people

Track day is coming, it’s walking like it’s taking us home

There will come a day when alienation will be separated from the world, dressed up and sad bowls of henna

Today I remembered what I remembered then watching his body return to his family and land, which he left about half a century ago. In one of his texts, he said, “What hurts me is that I resisted the colonialists, so my country rewarded me with exile and homelessness.”.

Muzaffar al-Nawab almost sums up in his person the whole history of modern Iraq. It can even shorten the whole of Iraq.

The Iraqi character lies between sadness and anger. In this vast and limited distance together, poetry rejoices in its purest manifestations. Is there poetry without Iraq residing at its heart?

The Iraqi accent is friendly, intimate, fluid and at the same time strict, fierce and warm. Also at this distance, the delicate soul is able to express itself in all available forms and with the most semantic and rhythmic predicates..

With the death of the poet, many sorrows and wishes are deposited deep in the throat, waiting for someone to utter them. Khalil Hawi’s statement is true:

Who thinks death is erased,

Let him count the crop yields on the threshing floor.

Vision hunters must come and give sorrows and wishes bodies of words in forms that may not have occurred to those before them..

May his soul rest in peace, and if I bet a restless and troubled soul like him must trouble eternity... May his soul forgive and may the Iraqi trains express their anger in violent friction along their tracks… may love flourish in (Umm Shamat). Let it be a fierce, angry love that doesn’t compromise and give up.
